Nritarutya is an Indian Contemporary Dance Company that has artistic and corporate collaborations to its credit and is led by artistic director Mayuri Upadhya.
The company has performed for the Queen of England, Amitabh Bachchan, Abu Jani – Sandeep Khosla, Vikram Phadnis, Anju Modi, the Ambanis to name a few.
Nritarutya is a 15 -year old Indian contemporary dance trust, based in Bangalore that has a unique movement vocabulary, which seeks inspiration from Indian ideologies.
Being, primarily, a performing unit, we also employ dancers and train them in professional dancing.
Adhyaya is a chapter in dance, where talented young dancers are hosted by Nritarutya in a performance organized by the company itself.
Nritarutya’s Mission:
— To create unique Indian dance interpretations and experiences for contemporary times.
— To teach, perform, stage and tour promoting Indian contemporary dances based in Bangalore for dance and allied arts of music, costumes and scenography.
